"You don't have to log out of game to install the new version everytime."

I've found that actually you do. Icebox crashes if you are in game.
I wasn't refering to updating with Icebox while in game, the OP doesn't have Icebox so I was telling them how I used to do it before I got Icebox.
I think that is more to do with the people running those raids. They can add and remove their premade at will then readd it later to get more group members also going offline removes it from the list as well. The only thing I can suggest is to possibly start your own group or try to choose those that are on the list longest. Those types are usually the ones that don't remove their group unless they go offline.
You don't have to log out of game to install the new version everytime. You can just install it then do a /reload which will refresh most of your addons including oQueue. Another method that I picked up on is I downloaded Icebox app from SolidIce and launch it everyday prior to logging in so I can update. The reason why Curse Client can't track it is due to how oQueue releases updates, they release them so rapidly that approval from Curse is required before they can post them on their site therefore the best method is doing it through their own site which works out even better now that they have Icebox. I hope I have answered your concerns and given you some new options to keeping it updated. :)
Just wanted to let others know that the disconnect does not go away if you stop using the battle.net desktop app. I still experience disconnects and screen freezes.
