Every time i turned around Deadly Boss mods asked me to updat ( pop up ) and it got anoying! You want to know how i solved it? i unistalled it and stopped bitching about it.

Tiny said enough to solve this. Right click the x and add to band list you will never see it again. simple and not 2 pages worth of blah blah blah!
