This often happens to me. I have found that 80% of the problem is the opposite party not having the current, updated version of OQ. And other times it just takes awhile to get the invite sent through since the most recent realm merger (or so I have noticed). Sometimes inviting them directly from your Friends List and not from the OQ WaitList will work.
I click on the link to download the addon, and using Chrome it gives me the option to Open or Save. You may also choose Open. When the window opens to your freshly downloaded folders, highlight the folder(s), Right Click, and select Cut (don't close it, just in case). In a new window, locate your Wow game (mine is C:/Program Files (x86)/WorldofWarcraft/Interface/Addons) and then Right Click in the Addons folder margin and select Paste. If updating, it will ask you if you want to move/keep or move/replace the folders. Always Move and Replace to all items. This will move the folder to where your game is located so that you can use it. Most addons are started when the game is initially started, so you may need to exit all the way out of WoW (not just logout) and restart the game to see the update. The download folder you Cut the addon from should be empty, and can be closed. If it is not you may have forgotten to move part of the addon.
HI JEN !!! HAVE MY BABIES!
I use the same style macros, and was inspired by the Beta dungeon journals. They list each role (Tank/Heals/DPS) and tell each one what they need to look out for. This is basically what mine says:
EX: Immerseus Normal 10
***All***: Stay spread out but in range of a healer. DO NOT: stand in puddles, get hit with swirl, or get hit with small gysers during swirl.
Tanks: Do not try to take 2 stacks of Corrosive Blast, it may kill you. Let your Offtank take the second blast. Assist DPS in killing the gray/black slimes during submersion.
DPS: Do not stand behind tanks, Corrosive Blast will kill you. Kill black/gray slimes during submersion. Assist healers (if able) by healing green slimes if no black ones are in your area.
Heals: Do not stand behind tanks, Corrosive Blast will kill you. Tanks with Corrosive Blast will take large damage (and extrememly large damage if they get a second stack). Heal the green/blue slimes to full (they will darken in color when full) during submersion. Be prepared for large damage spike as slimes hit the water in the middle.
@ Vixxenne
From an update when we went to the Battle-net destop addon, My World of Warcraft folder was moved. The new location for my game is Computer/C: Program Files (x86)/ World of Warcraft (then /Interface/Addons if I am manually cut/pasting an update as I do not use any Clients to do auto-updates). The old location was under Computer/C:/ Users/ Public/ Games/ World of Warcraft (and then /Interface/ Addons). If you use Windows, check both locations. The new Battle-net desktop app runs it from Program Files x86. I was updating addons under the Users location and scratching my head as to why none of my addons updates were in there. All of my data was copied into the Program Files x86 folder, but the old location was not deleted. When running WoW I was seeing the old addons copied into the Program Files x86 folder during the update, and it was not noticing or copying the stuff I was putting in the old Users folder. Also, R clicking the desktop folder and viewing its location, as shown above, was not working for me since I was using an old shortcut to the Users version.
The ones u may not qualify for my have filtered u out according to your role and not just your iLVL.
Contracts
Can someone explain how contracts work? There is one today for Bartlett the Brave (FP guy for Goldshire) and I hunted him down and killed him. I got a strange noise when I killed him, yet no chat notified me that I had killed him or completed the contract. I'm not 100% sure how it works either except get the list and kill them. Can someone please enlighten me ?
