OQUEUE KEEPS HIJACKING CHAT CHANNEL

one of the annoying OQueue does from time to time is hijack the General Chat Channel which causes every other channel to be pushed up 1 number: i.e. General chat becomes /2, Trade is /3, Local Defense /4, etc.. This is very annoying and forces me to fly to a main city, delete all the channels, then have to readd each one, one by one.

OQueue should not be stealing channel 1.

I can only hypothesize that this happens because OQueue intilizes/loads before WoW had a chance to load and connect to the chat channels. So in these instances, OQueue gots first dibs on chat channel 1.

So to remedy this, possibly could some coding be added to OQueue to delay by a few seconds in the creation/connection of it's custom chat channel to prevent this from happening?
oQ is already waiting about 30 seconds before joining the channel, your version is either too old or your game is still not fully downloaded.

i experienced this taking over of channel 1 this week on a pc where WoW was not fully downloaded yet (was still dowloading data in the background).

Once the area you are in has almost finished downloading (the download progress spinner icon had disappeared from the top of the game screen) re-start wow and the channel numbers should be back in their proper place.
same still happening to me on occasion, and it's freaking anoying. and no my version isn't too old, using 1.9.5 and i'm not downloading any new content either
This problem only happened when I had a very poor internet connection, which is something only you can solve.
Tiny did update this to wait a lot onger than it did. Ususally when it happens is when one of your other addons are out of date (I just recently figured out why it happed to me on occasion now it has stopped after i figured it out :) )
i modified this to work better.

look for the update in 1.9.6
so you call a Downloadspeed: 30 Mbps and Uploadsnelheid: 3 Mbps poor?. gimme a break. I know it's not the fastest but it's definitely not poor tat should be having that issue
actually, the issue isn't network speed but rather, addon loading speed.

if you have a lot of addons, the loading time can take a bit. in some cases, waiting even 30 seconds isn't enough.

i changed it to pull all the channels and if there are none, it won't grab oqgeneral and instead, wait another 5 seconds before checking again. this insures the default channels are in place before oqueue grabs oqgeneral
Sounds perfect as i do have a rather big addon list. with oqueue being the biggest memory consumer at 8-12MB
