Oqueue is causing an issue with my other chat addon that registers Trade as channel 2 and general as channel 1, and auto connects me to all, but world defense. The oquechannel keeps getting moved to number 1 causing me to disable it due to the fact my chat addon is saying invalid channel option for general and trade. I would love a fix if possiblle. This is very frustrating.

Channel list
channel numbers are assigned by the wow client as you connect. the first channel to be opened will be assigned 1... second will be 2... and so on. oQueue waits 10 seconds after logging in to try and connect to oqchannel. if your wow hasn't opened a connection to general or trade by that time... there isn't much i can do
Actually, that's not completely true because I ran into this same issue. The version where you added the hints popup on first login is causing this. Oqueue opens immediately to display the hints, which joins the channel, which made that channel #1, and bumped all the others by one. I had to logout, disable oqueue, log back in and channels were the correct numbers again. Logged back out, reenabled oqueue, and everything was good from there since the hints didn't display right away after that.
@ Thapps: Thanks for that work around. I would still like for some way to keep it from happening again, but till then this works! Thanks!
hmm... the hints do not open the channel... but opening the oQueue ui does turn oQueue 'on' which implies joining the oQueue channel
this would also happen if you immediately opened oQueue yourself, forcing the auto-join
i'll look into putting in a flag for that condition and delay the opening of the channel
