Seriously? I appreciate all the work put into this mod but you really need some control when it comes to updating this thing, you don't NEED to issue an update everytime you add or fix something... put them on a schedule ffs, like once a week? not even that.. do it once every month or so.

This way it gives you time to change heaps of things instead of making minor changes and making everyone update your mod...

free addon will update whenever it wants

when bugs pop up, they get fixed and the results shipped. normally in lettered patches, but if the total number fixed is high enough, or significant enough, a main update is pushed.

keep in mind, DBM pushes multiple updates every day. as such, i'm not concerned about once or twice a week. especially when you can use icebox to install/update in literally 5 seconds.

I agree it's annoying, But being the only addon like it, It only makes sense :)

It wouldn't be as bad and I don't think as many people wouldn't be complaining if all the updates didn't render the app unuseable. It does seem like often when I log on I have to go back and download the new update, whether it's using icebox or not, and restart WoW. And now my icebox keeps crashing.

if you update this addon so often put it to curse again, visiting this side nearly every day is not cool, everytime wow restart unzipping files whatever. downloading just another client only for this is not an option.

Dafuq? The wierdest shit people complain about.. yea this thing updates on a damn near hourly basis but it's always been for the better so far never the worse. If you have curse for your apps updating to be easier.. why dont you have icebox? its legit the EXACT same thing! Maybe oQ will be on curse some day.. and maybe coke will start making mt.dew. Until then doe.. click update on icebox once a day and enjoy the best free mod i've seen in gaming yet.

I dont really mind the updates, ill usually just look past the box telling me to until I feel like updating.

With that being said though, if you got a bunch of people telling you the same thing compromise alil bit.

Everyone's seen where you post after these saying how many hours you work, and I think everyone appreciates that, (im on a shit server, couldnt ever get the amount of pvp in without it.) but again getting atleast one of these post every other day should start to tell you something, maybe cut your hours down. Do a once a week update or something. I mean lets be serious if your putting in 80hrs a week for a free addon that most thought worked great about 20 updates ago your putting to much work into it.
