Has anyone else signed up on here and had thier account hacked right afterwards? This was the only thing I have done lately out of the norm and not only are my toons naked and empty one has been transfered to a new realm and had a name change. Just be careful everyone. I now have an authenticator which I should have before... but this place is the only thing I have updated with any of my wow info. So guessing it may have come from here. Just be careful...

I can assure you, there is literally a 0% chance that linking your account here can have your account be hacked.

We do not in any way collect your WoW account information.

A WoW account cannot be "hacked" just by knowing character information, you need the persons battle.net account information, which we do not in any way shape or form collect from users.

More than likely you are using the exact same email and password that you use for your WoW account on many websites. Which you should not do.

The account information you use for your WoW account should not be used for any other purpose.

For example, when I signed up here I took care to use a completely different password than I use on WoW.

Also I'd like to suggest you send in a ticket to blizzard once you've checked your computer for any virsues etc for something that could have compromised your security.

I've been hacked before, and blizzard restored everything I had lost.

A good friend of mine in my guild had this exact same thing happen to him, his email was repeatedly hacked and his WoW account comprimised several times. Blizzard kept fixing it, but it was apparently a big hassle. He got an authenticator and a new email addy, no issues after that. I decided to grab one too a few months later after seeing what a mess a mistake like that could end up being.
