Was doing an battleground and saw I was gaining killing blows. But when I looked at the scoreboard my Killing blows were different than the ones OQ was telling me. I found out that I was gaining false killing blows by killing mages mirror images.

They are up to 1.9.7b now. You should update as that is quite old.
